We have all been there. Either with a slow start, or too many toilet breaks, lessons fly by very quickly so be sure to time your lessons properly. Here are 6 basic steps to help you structure your lessons.
1. 5 minute settling in: Jackets off neatly, sitting down, aprons on and do the register
2. 5 minutes: Explain and discuss activity
3. 35 minutes: Activity ( In these 40 minutes you could fit in 3, or even 4 activities according to the number of your students)
4. 5 minutes: Wrap Up
5. 5 minutes: Pack Up
6. 5 minutes: Be Ready, clean and discuss lesson if there is time
